Botanical Wet Room in Microcement & Matte Black

The old bathroom was a patchwork of dated patterned tiles — busy florals underfoot, mismatched feature panels and a tired layout. We took it back to the brick and rethought it as a calm, spa-like wet room. Smooth microcement-look surfaces in soft greige wrap the walls seamlessly, broken by a single statement: a botanical palm-leaf panel running floor to ceiling. Matte-black fittings — wall taps, a round rainfall head and brassware — give the scheme its edge, set against a marble vessel basin on a fluted floating vanity. A level-access shower, backlit mirror and planted niche complete the room. Fussy and dated became serene, tactile and modern.
